Ali Haider and Noor Jahan are living through near-constant bombardment in Qom, with strikes reportedly occurring every 10 to 15 minutes near their residence.
The couple’s family in Vikasnagar, Dehradun, reports they can only communicate briefly every few days due to poor connectivity, leaving them in a state of constant fear.
Despite a desire to flee, the couple is trapped by high airfare costs and the extreme danger of traveling by land to the Armenian or Azerbaijani borders.
While the Indian Embassy is providing guidance on exit routes, the intensity of the conflict and the risk of traveling through active war zones remain primary hurdles.
