During the board meeting held at the municipal auditorium, Municipal Chairperson Meera Saklani discussed several initiatives, including the construction of parking near the Tehri bus stand and Civil Hospital, the development and beautification of Mousi Fall, setting up an Anganwadi room on the rooftop of Jharidpani Primary School, parking near Barloganj Sanatan Temple, construction of parking near the Old Tehri bus stand, re-tendering for the operation of the ropeway trolley, management of the Town Hall, re-issuing e-tenders for parking at the Library and Gaadikhana, renting the museum cafeteria near the ropeway trolley at market rates, and creating vending zones across municipal wards. Other proposals passed included renting Mussoorie filling stations at market rates, discussions on the rent of Om Filling Station, and providing nine vacant municipal shops in Kingreg to needy applicants. A proposal to allocate 2.5 bighas of Douglas Dell land for a Soldiers’ Rest House, announced by the Chief Minister, faced opposition from councilor Sachin Guher.
