PoK Reintegration Near: Chief Imam Predicts India Reunion

Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organisation, stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will "very soon" be reintegrated with India.

The Imam claimed that residents in PoK are eager to join India after witnessing the economic development and peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

Referring to the reunification as a "homecoming," he noted that the progress in the region has shifted the local mindset toward India.

During his visit to Srinagar, the Imam highlighted the shift from "stones to pens" among youth, signaling a new era of education and tourism.

Beyond PoK, the Imam expressed hope that India’s leadership could mediate in global conflicts, specifically mentioning the tensions in West Asia.
