ITBP to host 25th All India Water Sports Event at Tehri Lake

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is organizing the 25th All India Police Water Sports Cluster from April 8 to 12, 2026, at Tehri Lake in Uttarakhand.
The event will feature 19 teams from across India, including state police and paramilitary forces, with 440 personnel (310 men and 130 women) competing in 52 different events.
Athletes will compete in major water sports categories including Canoeing, Rowing, and Kayaking at the scenic Tehri reservoir.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the event, which aims to promote national unity, discipline, and sportsmanship among security forces.
