ITBP to host 25th All India Water Sports Event at Tehri Lake
  • The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is organizing the 25th All India Police Water Sports Cluster from April 8 to 12, 2026, at Tehri Lake in Uttarakhand.
  • The event will feature 19 teams from across India, including state police and paramilitary forces, with 440 personnel (310 men and 130 women) competing in 52 different events.
  • Athletes will compete in major water sports categories including Canoeing, Rowing, and Kayaking at the scenic Tehri reservoir.
  • Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the event, which aims to promote national unity, discipline, and sportsmanship among security forces.
